Privacy Policy

PC Uptime Application • Compliant with Microsoft Store Guidelines & GDPR

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs the data processing related to the PC Uptime application developed and distributed through the Microsoft Store.

By using the Application, the user accepts the terms described in this document.

2. Data Collected

PC Uptime does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The Application operates exclusively locally on the user’s device and only reads system information already available in Windows, including:

  • System uptime
  • Date and time of the last boot
  • Boot duration
  • Active and idle time percentages
  • Stability records

This information remains solely on the user’s device and is never sent to external servers, third parties, or the developer.

3. Purpose of Processing

The system data displayed by the Application is used exclusively for the local features of the app:

  • Showing the PC’s uptime and stability status
  • Providing the reboot and shutdown actions requested by the user

It is not used for profiling, advertising, behavioral analysis, or any other commercial purpose.

4. Data Sharing

PC Uptime does not share any data with third parties.

There are no analytics services, third-party SDKs, advertising services, or network connections to external servers.

5. Data Retention

The Application does not store personal data.

The system information displayed is read in real time and is not permanently saved, except for the strictly local stability record features of the app.

6. User Rights

Since the Application does not collect personal data, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, or data portability under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) or other data protection laws do not apply.

7. Security

PC Uptime does not handle personal data and does not perform any network communications.

The only operations performed involve reading local system information and, upon the user’s explicit request, rebooting or shutting down the device.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Any updates to this Privacy Policy will be published within the Application or on its Microsoft Store page.

Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
