1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PC Uptime application you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Description of the Application

PC Uptime is a local system utility that displays information about your computer’s uptime, boot duration, active/idle time, and stability records.

It also provides optional actions that allow the user to reboot the system (including reboot to BIOS/UEFI), perform a clean reboot, or schedule a shutdown.

The Application runs entirely on your device and does not require an internet connection to function.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Application
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • How you use the Application
  • Any actions you initiate through the Application (including reboots and shutdowns)
  • Ensuring that your device meets the minimum system requirements
  • Backing up any important data before performing system actions

The reboot and shutdown features permanently interrupt running processes. Use them only when you understand the consequences.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The developer does not warrant that:

  • The Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate
  • The uptime or system information displayed will always be precise
  • The Application will be compatible with every hardware configuration or future Windows updates

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Application.

This includes, without limitation, any damages resulting from:

  • System reboots or shutdowns initiated through the Application
  • Loss of data
  • System instability
  • Hardware or software malfunctions

You use the Application and its system actions entirely at your own risk.

7. Updates and Changes

The developer may update the Application from time to time.

These Terms of Service may also be updated. Continued use of the Application after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Termination

The developer reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Application at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
